The gabions are made of wire with a mesh size of 5 x 10 cm and a diameter of 4 mm, which is galvanized. The zinc-aluminum coating with a minimum amount of 350 g/m² ensures high corrosion resistance, as proven by the salt spray test (DIN EN ISO 9227) with a resistance of over 3,000 hours.
Stable construction and uncomplicated assembly
The tensile strength of the wire is over 500 N/mm², while the shear strength of the weld points is over 3.5 kN, ensuring a robust and durable construction. Each fence comes with a spiral edge closure and spacers that prevent the grids from bulging and help create an even shape.
